Duke Game Watch, Meet President Barron and Our 3rd Annual Bacchus Bash!
On Saturday, January 14, the Noles did (almost) the unthinkable – they handed Roy Williams and the UNC Tarheels the worst loss of William’s North Carolina tenure, a stunning 33 point defeat at the hands of Florida State.
On Saturday, January 21, the Noles will travel to Duke – can they do it again? Find out at our FSU-Duke game watch, on Saturday, January 21 at 3:00 p.m. at New York Pizza (4416 Magazine Street, Uptown New Orleans).
Then, on Thursday, January 26, meet Florida State president Dr. Eric Barron at a reception honoring Dr. Tiruvalam Krishnamurti (FSU Earth, Ocean & Atmospheric Sciences) from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom A at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside (Two Poydras Street, CBD). Click here to RSVP, or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
Annnnd, it’s nearly time for our third annual Seminole Bacchus Bash on Sunday, February 19 at the corner of Peniston and Dryades, Uptown – look for the FSU flag!
There will be beer, soft drinks and hot dogs (not to mention the all-important all day access to the bathroom, only three blocks from the parade route on St. Charles).
Bring some cash to chip in on the kegs, if you plan to drink, and feel free to bring your own grill items or sides if you’d like to help out. Limited parking is available, so show up incredibly early if you plan to drive.
