King cake, beer, Bacchus and…FSU v. NC State?
It’s nearly time for our second annual Seminole Bacchus Bash on Sunday, March 6 around 2:00 p.m. at the corner of Peniston and Dryades, Uptown – look for the FSU flag hanging from the house!
There will be beer, soft drinks and hot dogs (not to mention the all-important all day access to the bathroom, only three blocks from the parade route on St. Charles) – and later in the day, we’ll have FSU’s final regular season men’s basketball game versus NC State on TV.
Bring some cash to chip in on the kegs, if you plan to drink, and feel free to bring your own grill items or sides if you’d like to help out. Limited parking is available, so show up incredibly early if you plan to drive.
And did I mention the king cake? That’s right, Noles – we are fearlessly making a garnet and gold, nutella-filled king cake especially for the festivities.
Here’s a bit of lagniappe, too – our officially licensed (thanks much to Sherri Dye at Florida State University for her guidance) koozies will be available for sale for only $5 each!
Bon Mardi Gras – see you for Bacchus!
